In this week's continuing drama, we start with a flashback to Ryan's past. It's the beginning of high school, and Ryan meets Destiny, his "first true love." We then flash forward to the future, where Ryan is finishing a run, obviously working off some frustration. He sees Fred and Penny, and they agree to meet later for drinks. Ryan is invited to coffee from Frances, the woman he's not really attracted to. He decides to meet up with her, and this results in creating some friction with Fred and Penny. This part ends with Ryan having a bit of a "pep talk" with himself in the car on the ride home.
As the story unfolds, I'm hoping you'll get a sense for who Ryan is, what he wants, and what is hindering his progress and creating the frustration he deals with. Is this something you can relate to? I'd love your thoughts!

"Nothing is Lost" Part 3
In every post, I'll be featuring a person or company that deserves some attention. I'm excited for who you are going to meet!
Umberto was an extra in my short film, "Pause!" (coming soon to a YouTube near you!). He was easygoing and very helpful on set. Since principal photography in April, 2017, he's been busy with acting and producing gigs all over Washington state. Recently, I put out a call for help with finishing up "Pause!", and he responded with his offer to do some sound cleanup. We met, and I was happy to learn that he is a true professional both in front of and behind the camera, including theater pieces as well! Check out his IMDB page, and follow this up and coming creative!
